Nasturtium

Thriving in the poorest of soils, just a few plants are sure to provide ample harvest throughout the summer months. The flowers and leaves have a powerful peppery flavour that brings an exciting impact to salads. Seed buds can be roasted, used in place of pepper or pickled as an alternative to capers. Harvesting on a cool morning delivers a more delicate flavour.
