Honeysuckle

This deciduous climber is perfectly positioned up against a wall. Twining stems carry heavily perfumed tubular, two-lipped blooms that dried or fresh can be used as a tisane, generally taken for its medicinal rather than culinary qualities. Flowers have a sweet edible nectar that can be sucked from the base right after picking. Best avoided are the berries, which in most cases are poisonous.
